broken pcie slot I was just looking this up and apparently my Ranger mobo has 2 x16 pcie slots however the second slot that it says is a x16 is actually a x8  I made a mistake when trying to fit a FPC cable into the PCIe slot on my Raspoberry Pi 5 I've broken one of mine, I've nicked one from one of my old  It is very hard to damage a pcie slot It doesn't look damaged to the naked eye, but the only way to tell is to see if your pc detects the gpu
